Kirsten Meier, originally from Germany, moved to Paris at the age of 19. She studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne IV and graduated with a Maitre des Arts (MA) in literature and audiovisual creations.
She worked for 7 years for the Hachette publishing house in Paris in iconography and copyright and moved to the South of France to Cannes in 2011. In Cannes, she was a photographer for yacht racing events such as the Régates Royales de Cannes and in fashion photography. Her business acumen developed while working as a business development manager for American clients. She met photographers like Christian Chapot and Angelo Marino who was the assistant for 20 years to the renowned fashion photographer Helmuth Newton.
In 2018, Kirsten moved to Canada and founded ArtRocks Design, her fine art photography gallery. Passionate about photography, contrasts in light and symmetry, she founded this art project with international and Quebec photographers who have made an impact on her over the years.
